From: shivani sharma, adventatech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Description - Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Remote Candidate has to go onsite for interview 1 hour & 1 interview only Candidate preferred from Detroit MI WITH LINKDIN ( Can take candidate from anywhere if ready to go onsite interview , but no compensation for that ) Overall IT experience with some healthy mix of hands-on experience in servers, storage, networking, and security since Azure/AWS/GCP/OCI is a combination of all these areas. Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP. Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC to build and manage cloud solutions. Experience in AWS CloudFormation and terraform to automate infrastructure deployment. Monitor and optimize AWS costs, using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor. Hand on troubleshooting, hands on implementing and configuring, researching as well as architecting/designing solutions. Ensuring that Azure resources are secure and meet the organization's security policies and compliance standards. Collaboration: Should work closely with other teams such as developers, network engineers, and security professionals to ensure that Cloud resources are integrated properly. Experience in managing Azure storage services, including Blob storage, Azure Files and storage sync service. In depth knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services Experienced with Azure SQL, Azure Automation, and Azure Resource Manager. Implement and Manage Storage Azure network experience -, VPN and Express route, Traffic Manager, Load Balancers, DNS, Azure Backup. & Site Recovery. Strong understanding of core Azure services, Azure Services, security, and governance. Perform Cloud environment health check (health checks, alarms, roles) Monitor critical services and health of Cloud services Start/stop/reboot VM as per planned activity Create/delete snapshots Implement Cloud compliance policies as per the BV corporate standards Manage backup of production and non-production workloads as per BV policies Operational tasks including Create/modify/manage subnet, route tables and NACL Launch/delete VM instances Create/delete/Sync storage blob Attach/detach volumes Create/attach/detach auto scaling group, load balancer, managed disk & VM images Manage user/group policies Setup auto scaling with load balancer Maintain existing reporting Manage/analyzing Log metrics Manage access keys and security certificates Editing DNS records and domain configurations Disassociate VNET with hosted zone Prepare various utilization reports and share with stakeholders as per agreed timeline ex: cost reports, utilization reports etc. Identify Cloud optimization themes/levers and execute them as part of operations leveraging FinOps framework Perform scheduled preventive maintenance/ corrective actions in accordance with policy. Scripting skills in languages like Python, Power, or Bash. Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
