System Developer - Consultant Services Job Description: The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining ArcGIS Pro-integrated applications and extending native editing features to support the agency goals to modernize the maintenance management system. This position requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for geospatial technologies. SCOPE OF SERVICES Design, develop, and enhance ESRI ArcGIS Pro-based applications and custom extensions forspatial data editing of linear and point features. Implement customtools, scripts, and workflows in ArcGIS Pro to imize GIS data editing, analysis, and visualization. Maintain andimprove existing GIS systems to ensure reliability and performance. Manage, process, and analyze spatial data from diversesources. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of GIS datasets, including performing data conversions, quality assurance, and updates. imize spatial databases and filegeodatabases for performance and usability. Develop integration solutions for GIS systems with enterprise platforms or third-party tools. Automate repetitive GIS workflows using Python (ArcPy), Arcade, ModelBuilder, orsimilar tools. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, and userguides. Generate reports and dashboards usingGIS data to support decision-making processes. Provide technical support and knowledge transition to team members and end users as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do nothave the required skills will notbe considered. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ArcGIS Pro-based GIS solution design and development. Demonstrated proficiency with ESRI product suite, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, SDE DataStore), ArcGISDesktop, ArcGIS Online,and ArcMap. Demonstrated experience working with geospatial data types in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle/Oracle Spatial, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases. Hands-on development experience with Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and Model Builder to create/extend editing tools in ArcGIS Pro. Experience withMS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or othergeospatial databases. Familiarity withArcGIS Online capabilities and GIS application development. Ability to collaborate effectively within a teamenvironment. Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in GIS. Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub. Experience with version controland release management practices. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Experience in Microsoft .NET/C#/SQL Server-based web application development will bea plus.
