Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on complex technical topics and effectively communicating details with all levels of management. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate data architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., conceptual, logical, and physical models) and experience with modern databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including data lakes, ETL pipelines, and serverless architectures. Conducts interviews with stakeholders to capture the current information flow and define the Business Domains, Sub domains, Data Domains etc. Develops the information models (Level 0, 1,2, 3.etc.) for mission critical and business continuity systems from a data-driven flow perspective. Identify the information flow gaps among the systems and work with the service or application owners to close them. Initiate a program of continuous and sustainable improvement in information quality across all major systems. Collaborate and partner with technology teams, architects, and other key stakeholders to drive solutions which provide ongoing operational excellence and resiliency to metadata and control environment challenges. Consult with data stewards, business process owners, subject matter experts, technical experts, end users and other stakeholders to gather information about the current and target state business process, data architecture, domain data models, tools and frameworks used for data capabilities, data sources, control features, data interfaces with other systems required. Review strategic initiatives to ensure that the information flow is consistent and in line with all downstream systems.
