Role: Sr. Oracle Financials Consultant Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 10074 Description Techno-Functional assistance with the Oracle Financials R12 application in the following modules; Accounts Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CE), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Receivables (AR) and iExpense. Technical/business requirement gathering. Assistance with custom NYSFMS application implementations. Assistance with future Oracle Financials upgrades. Duties The duties of the consulting resources would be to provide techno-functional assistance to NYSIFs business users, gather requirements (business and technical) for the Oracle Financials IT team and test & provide support in the following: Requirement gathering for custom NYSIF Oracle Financials applications Creation of Technical/Functional documentation for existing and new custom workflow implementation. Implementation/Maintenance of custom NYSIF applications in E-Business suite. Provide support to maintain approval management hierarchy using AME (Approval Management Engine). Supporting Finance users with month/year end activities like closing periods and books. Create/Maintain Oracle stored procedures and packages for NYSIF custom applications Provide support for changes in Oracle Financials configurations and setups Create new or re-structure existing financial reporting queries to reconcile transactions against source systems. Support Data warehouse extraction processes for business reporting. Unit testing for custom NYSIF applications. The consultant will adhere to NYSIFs application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Oracle Financials standards and the IT governance process. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
