Requirement details : R ole: Scrum Master SAFe (Automobile Domain) Location: Columbus, OH ( Hybrid) - Onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) and remote on Mondays and Fridays Experience: 10+ Years Duration: Long Term Job Responsibilities: Must have skills: Agile Project Management using SAFe, should have worked on software development projects using java, J2EE, web application projects, legacy transformations using AWS or Azure Overall IT industry Experience: 10 + years with good experience in software development projects using Java, J2EE, .NET, web portals, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Should have strong hands-on experience driving technology teams as part of the Agile scrum using SAFe. As Scrum master should have strong SAFe Agile delivery experience, hands with JIRA, hands on with Confluence, smooth handling of issues, risks, and dependencies between multiple RTE, Product owners, work stream leads and other stakeholders, vendor team & with Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good to have experience in Automotive and manufacturing industry. Should have worked on software development projects using java, J2EE or NodeJS, web application development, legacy transformations/application modernization projects on AWS or Azure Project Role Description: Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors, the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics in JIRA to assess the velocity, defect density and flow metrics Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/MS in computer science, Electronics or any related stream/discipline Summary of Technical experience: As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our team, ensuring collaborative and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions. You will work closely with the product development and technology teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistent achievement of objectives. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with Strong knowledge and experience of Agile Scrum principles and practices. Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence is a MUST. Ability to create dashboards on Jira and share timely reports with stakeholders. Not less than 10 years of experience in IT industry and profile should have experience with the technology skills like Java, J2EE, web development projects, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the team. Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices. Ensure the team collaborates efficiently to deliver high-quality products. Work with the Product Developer to prioritize the product backlog. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. identify and resolve obstacles hindering the team's progress. Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Track KPIs to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time. Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile principles. Needed Professional Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proven ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to coordinate and handle PI planning activities with the scrum teams as part of SAFe Agile method Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe certification and Kanban certification.
