Job: IT Support Specialist Location: San Jose, CA(Onsite) Term: 06+ Months Visa : All Visa Linked in must Job Description We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist with 2-3 years of experience to join our team and provide end-user support to our North American employees from our San Jose headquarters.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a contract position for 5 months, with a high possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both onsite and remotely. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, applications, printers, and peripheral devices. Assist with user account management, including password resets, access provisioning, and de-provisioning. Support users with Google Workspace, VPN, and other enterprise applications. Collaborate with India IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. Maintain accurate records of service requests and resolution details in the ticketing system. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures while supporting end users. Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT equipment for new hires and exit employees. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues. Ensure to maintain up to date IT Asset inventory Requirements: 2-3 Years of experience in an IT support or end-user support role. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Google Workspace, and common desktop applications. Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic knowledge of networks. Basic understanding of Active Directory and user management. Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Relevant IT certification or equivalent qualification is a plus. Preferred experience: Experience in supporting end users in a corporate environment & senior executives. Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices. Prior experience in an IT support role within a global or distributed team.
