SRE Engineer Hybrid in VA Must be Ex-Capital one Experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role supporting large-scale systems. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud-native technologies. Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems and system administration. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, , Bash, etc.). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI). Familiarity with networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) and services. Troubleshooting skills to quickly analyze and resolve system failures, performance issues, or service disruptions. Knowledge of security best practices for production systems, including encryption, authentication, and data protection. Experience with incident management tools (e.g., PagerDuty, Opsgenie). Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
