This role will involve planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems, including wireless networks and cloud-based infrastructures. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of network architecture, including cutting-edge solutions from Cisco, Palo Alto, and VOIP systems. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, forecast, and identify resource requirements for network systems of moderate complexity. Participate in the development and design of network architecture and engineering solutions. Integrate communication topologies, hardware, software, and protocols into cohesive network configurations. Evaluate, deploy, and maintain network systems, including Palo Alto, Cisco, and VOIP solutions. Implement cloud networking configurations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Monitor protocol compatibility, tune systems for optimal performance, and recommend improvements. Develop and document technical standards, best practices, and network operations interfaces. Prepare schematics and documentation for network configurations and system changes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and technical standards. Diagnose and resolve network-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and peak performance. Monitor network performance metrics, identifying potential issues proactively. Perform system tuning to enhance efficiency and scalability. Manage cloud networking environments, leveraging advanced knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models. Mandatory Qualifications: Certifications: CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA (Required). Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, VPN, and routing protocols. Proficiency in Cisco LAN and routing equipment, Windows environments, and mainframe emulation tools. Expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and cloud networking tools. Proven ability to develop upgrade and implementation plans. Preferred Qualifications: Strong troubleshooting skills for Local Area Networks (LAN) and wide-area environments (WAN). Experience with VOIP systems and security protocols. Exceptional ability to drive effective meetings and communicate technical concepts clearly. Aptitude for analyzing information and making data-driven decisions. Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
