Job Title : SAP RAR Specialist Location : Austin, TX ( local only) Long Term :: Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR Consultant to support and enhance our SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting solution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP RAR, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Business Process Owners, to drive revenue recognition solutions aligned with organizational goals. Configure and implement SAP RAR to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain revenue recognition rules and processes in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS 15 / ASC 606). Support the integration of SAP RAR with SD, FI/CO, and other SAP modules. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Provide expertise on revenue recognition processes and recommend best practices. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP RAR implementation or support. Deep understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards and revenue recognition concepts. Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SD, and integration with RAR. Hands-on experience with data migration, master data management, and RAR performance optimization. Proficient in designing functional specifications for custom developments. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. SAP Certification in RAR is a plus.
