VCCS is in need of a project manager for several IT projects. This is primarily a remote engagement (specific schedule is below) and occasional ON SITE meetings may be required. This involves working with System Office IT staff, system owners, and college staff to ensure the needs of the VCCS community are being communicated, understood and met. Responsibilities include coordinating project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring resource allocation, managing project updates, running steering committee meetings, and facilitating effective communication to drive the successful implementation of project initiatives in alignment with organizational goals. Ideal candidates will have experience leading technical enterprise system projects involving various stakeholder groups. This experience MUST be clearly reflected on your resume with technical details included. Experiencing with PeopleSoft enterprise systems is a plus as is VA state Cardinal system experience. Experience using agile project management methodology is desired. Must have an active PMP certificate. NO EXCEPTIONS! Pls upload the PMP cert to confirm.
