Title: DB2 Developer 100% Remote (CST hours) Any Visa Long term contract Hiring Manager Note: We have 2 new openings, both of them senior database developers, who have experience with db2 database development. Most of the db2 developers typically have experience in RPG programming, we would prefer someone who has done SQL coding in the db2 environment. The version we are on is IBM iSeries. Any other modern programming language such as python coding would be a big plus. These are the specific skills we are looking for the open position. The skillset in bold is required. Required skills: Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, temporary and temporal tables, convert RPG code to sql stored procedures, commitment control, procedures, table functions, UDFs, performance tuning, logging and exception handling. Expert SQL stored procedures development experience in db2 IBM iseries platform. Please note that this is a MUST. If they just have embedded SQL and RPG experience, we are not going to move them to an interview.
