Establishes, plans, and coordinates work efforts. Provides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs. Assists with designing and implementing the components required for complex network project designs. Participates in the design, development, and implementation of the network infrastructure including wireless, routing, and routing protocols, NAT, QoS, ACL, firewalls, remote access and VOIP. Installs, configures, and maintains organizations network. Reviews, plans, and evaluates network systems. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN. Recommends and schedules repairs. Provides end user support for all LAN-based applications. Troubleshoots network systems and recommends improvements to the network. Provides documentation /project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. Analyzes network security and recommends, develops, and deploys security measures to protect information against unauthorized intrusion, modification, or loss. Analyzes WAN functions of the organization. Works to develop, improve, maintain, and implement WAN. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains WAN equipment. Provides reports, completes requests for new service, determines methodology for installing new service, and determines appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications, test links, coordinates the install of communication circuits and campus cabling of copper and fiber infrastructure. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, research, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution. Maintains and manages internet web filter, includes designing rules, appliance management, daily operation, and support, troubleshooting. Manages the cellular mobility VPN software and hardware. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments.
