Job Title: IT Project Manager Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid) Local Only Duration: 12+ Months Interview: Video Must have LinkedIn Domain Pharma Must Job Description: Master the end-to-end business process cycles (OTC, PTP, WM, TM, POD, etc.) Become fluent with the entire IT landscape (core systems, secondary systems, interfaces, etc.) Review business requirements and understand business rationale and the end goal Compare multiple vendor solutions against the business requirements and prepare analysis Present analysis to executive leadership and deliver recommendations for decision making Build detailed budgets and manage project expenses within the approved limits Develop project timelines, meet the defined milestones and ensure on time deliveries Identify resource requirements and manage the assets bandwidth Deliver weekly status reporting for each project and report to project stakeholders Mitigate risks and provide alternative solutions and/or workarounds when needed Manage the communication and training requirements for project deployments Build and oversee the execution of comprehensive cutover plans during Go Lives Manage post Go Live Hypercare and expedite resolution during production outages Assist the Business Analysts (Client) in delivering change requests Improve the change request process to increase the delivery capacity Provide project management training, tools and materials to Client to assist with enterprise initiatives Qualifications/Experience: 7 to 10 years of proven experience managing IT projects Bachelor's degree in a related field (Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, etc.) MBA preferred PMP Certification Preferred Required Skills Include: Experience with various distribution systems and platforms (Web, ERP , Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Final Mile Delivery, etc.) Fluent in distribution practices and processes both upstream (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, etc.) and downstream (Receiving, Selection, Inventory Control, etc.) Interpersonal skills that nurture the development of relationships, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration Outstanding communication skills with ability to articulate the explanation of complex systems and processes Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a desire for accuracy and data integrity Excellent time management with capability of multi-tasking competing priorities at times Dynamic and agile with ability to quickly shift focus and attention based on the severity of the situation at hand Project Specific Requirements: Cloud Infrastructure Management: Experience managing projects in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments, including migrations, provisioning, and resource optimization. Data Center Operations: Knowledge of on-premises data center operations, including server management, network setups, and storage solutions. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation, ensuring resilience and business continuity. System Integration: Ability to oversee integration between different infrastructure components, ensuring seamless interoperability. Network Infrastructure: Understanding of network fundamentals, such as VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and general network architecture to coordinate network-related tasks. Virtualization and Containerization: Experience with VM management (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Security Compliance: Knowledge of security standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements, and ability to enforce security best practices in projects. Automation and Scripting: Understanding of automation tools and scripting for infrastructure tasks, including IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Change and Release Management: Proficient in managing change control processes, ensuring minimal disruption during deployments and updates. Infrastructure Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Familiar with monitoring tools and approaches for tracking infrastructure health, availability, and performance. Vendor and Contract Management: Skilled in coordinating with third-party vendors and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and support contracts. Technical Documentation and Standards Compliance: Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards. Experience with Agile/ITIL Frameworks: Comfortable working within Agile, ITIL, or other IT service management frameworks for effective project delivery and operations. Stakeholder Communication: Strong skills in communicating complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations, and gathering feedback.
