In this hybrid role, you will drive the development of cutting-edge Java applications while aligning product features with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality, scalable products. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead the design and development of Java-based applications, frameworks, and microservices. Oversee code quality, architectural integrity, and adherence to best practices. Act as a technical advisor, guiding the team on emerging Java technologies and tools. Implement scalable solutions leveraging frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java EE. Product Ownership Define and prioritize the product backlog, translating business requirements into user stories and technical tasks. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the product vision, roadmap, and deliverables. Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and development teams, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations. Ensure the timely delivery of features that meet business and technical needs. Team Leadership Manage, mentor, and support a team of Java developers to foster technical excellence and career growth. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Promote collaboration and innovation within the team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Quality and Performance Management Oversee testing, debugging, and performance tuning for all applications and services. Ensure that products are reliable, secure, and optimized for scalability. Monitor and address technical debt to maintain long-term codebase health. Qualifications Technical Skills 8+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java EE. Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Proficient in database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment. Product Ownership Skills Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role managing product lifecycles. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to define and manage product backlogs. Ability to balance business needs with technical feasibility, ensuring the right priorities are addressed. Leadership Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders. Proven ability to manage and inspire technical teams in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering results. Other Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
