Job Title: FDNY QA Engineer (Public safety experience) Linkedin Required Location: NYC (Hybrid) Experience: 12+ Years Job description: Then NYC office of Technology and Innovation has been tasked with recruiting a specialist 3 ,FDNY QA engineer Who will be required to assist with managing and oversee the NG911 FDNY system. The QA engineer is needed to continue the project work for the class 1/2/3 and NG 911 call handling upgrade if the next generation 911 emergency call system and provide expertise and technical specialization during the testing and configuration phases. Scope of services: Ensure abidance by industry regulatory and quality standards. Develop and execute exploratory testes to ensure product Quality specific to FIRE and EMD Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases as it relates to FIRE and EMD dispatch. Develop and prioritize and coordinate testing activities with FDNY and associate vendors. Develop and execute automation scripts in support of FIRE and EMD Develop and apply testing process in support of FIRE and EMD Mandatory Skills: Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and /or business application, product, platform, methodology or skill set. Testing public safety /Dispatch application or system experience. Desirable Skills: Previous integration/test experience on a large system. Proactive approach to problem solving any issue both technical and non-technical with strong troubleshooting and debugging sills. Experience utilizing selenium test suite, mercury Interactive tools, Maven, Rational SQA suite/Team test.
