Sr Middleware Administrator-IBM Websphere Atlanta GA -Locals 12 Months The Senior Middleware Administrator is a technically skilled professional responsible for managing all aspects of the Middleware environment. This includes tasks such as builds and deployments, patching, automation, troubleshooting, design, and certificate management. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including Network Security, Application Development, Project Management, and OS Server Administration, to ensure seamless Middleware platform and infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities: Administer IBM WebSphere Application Servers (V7, V8, V8.5), WebLogic, Tomcat, and IIS environments, including automation of manual tasks through scripting. Perform builds, deployments, maintenance, and security compliance for Middleware platforms. Design automated CI/CD solutions using tools like Jenkins, and ensure consistent deployments. Support Linux/Unix environments with scripting and maintain security configurations. Manage change and incident processes in compliance with IT policies and procedures. Provide Level 2/3 support, on-call assistance, and create process documentation for team training. Troubleshoot performance issues (memory leaks, thread/heap dumps) and manage certificates. Required Skills and Experience: Extensive experience with Middleware products like IBM WebSphere (V7, V8.5, V9.0), IHS, IIS, and Tomcat. Strong background in Linux/Unix and Windows systems administration. Expertise in scripting, Jenkins pipelines, and automated deployment solutions. Knowledge of SSL, certificates, and middleware security compliance. Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and compliance with audit requirements. Preferred Skills: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Citrix Load Balancers. Proficiency in Python, Power, JACL, and YAML scripting.
