Job Title: Splunk Consultant Job ID: VZGTJP00055793 Job Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid Model) Duration: 06 Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for security events monitoring using application logs by performing log analysis and log monitoring using Splunk. Hands on experience in Elastic-Kibana or Splunk, developing reports, alert notifications and dashboards is a must . Perform periodic log review, Maintain Splunk related event monitoring and develop/implement new monitoring and analytics related requirements are required activities to perform daily. The role also includes coordination tasks between teams located in onsite and offshore, to make sure logging framework standards are being followed. Also, should be able to study the log events, analyzes and interprets trends/patterns based on the security use case requirements. MUST HAVE SKILLS: 6+ years of JAVA experience 3+ years of experience in Splunk. Hands on experience with ELK Hands on experience with Kafka and Logstash Knowledge about Log shipping in Container Systems like Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift/ Amazon EKS DESIRED SKILLS: Knowledge of Python programming Knowledge of statistical theories and techniques commonly used in recommendation, prediction, and anomaly detection and optimization models EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Physics or Mathematics discipline Desirable: Splunk Analytics Certification Note: As a part of Client Offer; every candidate needs to have Cleared Drug Test and most recent 7 years of cleared Background Check About Pyramid Consulting, Inc.
