Position: Data Scientist Duration: 12+ Months Exp: 12 Years Remote!! Role Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions for real-world applications. Key Responsibilities Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize deep learning models for computer vision tasks such as image classification, object detection, and semantic segmentation. Build and fine-tune NLP models for tasks like text classification, sentiment analysis, language translation, and entity recognition. Data Management: Preprocess, augment, and clean large datasets for computer vision and NLP pipelines. Work with multimodal datasets to derive insights and train hybrid models combining visual and textual data. Integration & Deployment: Deploy AI/ML models in production environments, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and accuracy. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into existing systems or products. Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in CV and NLP and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the organizations solutions. Experiment with state-of-the-art architectures like Transformers, Vision-Language models, and foundation models. Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and domain experts. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field (Ph.D. is a plus). Minimum 5 years of professional experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on Computer Vision and NLP. Proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face. Strong knowledge of deep learning architectures like CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and Vision Transformers (ViT). Experience with NLP libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, or OpenAI APIs. Hands-on expertise in tools like OpenCV, Dlib, and text embeddings (e.g., BERT, GPT). Proficient in Python and familiar with data tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools for model deployment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in multimodal AI applications combining CV and NLP. Knowledge of OCR techniques and frameworks. Background in developing solutions for specific industries such as healthcare, retail, or finance.
