Provides end-to-end responsibility for all enterprise Windows Server services, Active Directory structures, trusts and accounts. Assists with leading and facilitating groups across all levels of the organization to deliver valued outcomes to drive business decisions. Manages Exchange email systems; backups and recoveries; and recommends changes that positively impact database and server performance. Creates disaster recovery planning and design. Evaluates/recommends new technologies for implementation while providing extensive troubleshooting and performance monitoring. Performs other assignments/duties as assigned. REQUIRED DEGREE Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associates Degree SUPPLEMENTED WITH four (4) years work experience in a Windows 2008 Server engineer role including any current Microsoft Server certification OR Six (6) years work experience in a Window Server engineer role. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Candidates ACTUAL Years of Experience Experience with Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, Global Catalog, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File/Print Servers, and Clusters. (Experience with ADFS/FIM preferred.) 1 Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and other network protocols.1 Experience with enterprise backup solutions, replication and redundancy.
