Hello, Greetings from Encore Consulting Services, Inc Senior Mainframe Developer 2+ year contract Jackson, MS (Hybrid) Experience : 12+ Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the system using Natural, ADABAS, COBOL, CICS, and other technologies. Analyze user requirements, perform testing, and oversee the Quality Assurance (QA) of information systems. Support automated eligibility determination systems and provide expertise on system architectures. Offer recommendations for system enhancements and maintain documentation. Provide training to end users and stay updated on SNAP and TANF eligibility policies. Technical Requirements: 10+ years of experience in programming (Natural, ADABAS, JCL, COBOL, CICS, VSAM, etc.). Experience with Linux, UNIX, and relational databases like Informix. Experience in automated eligibility systems and with state and federal mandates. Preferred Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills. Experience with SCRUM and Jira software. Ability to work on multiple projects and solve complex technical issues.
