Title: .Net Developer Visa: USC, GC Location: Energy Corridor, Houston, TX End Client: Financial SAAS company within the banking sector Note : Must Have: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript Must be able to come onsite for prescreening interview About the Job: Our financial services client is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. In this role, you will work on developing, and maintaining software applications. You will primarily work with C# .NET 8, JavaScript, and TypeScript technologies. Experience in the finance industry is preferred as you will be contributing to critical systems within the sector. This role has Hybrid Flexibility (4 days wfh) within Houston, TX. Due to being onsite, only candidates currently residing within Houston will be considered for the role. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure software applications using C# .NET 8, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions that meet business needs. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following industry best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, ensuring smooth operations in production environments. Implement and maintain database interactions, working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Integrate with third-party APIs and external systems. Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing improvements and innovations to existing systems. Collaborate with the team to implement Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2-5 years of professional software development experience, particularly in C# .NET (preferably .NET 8), JavaScript, and TypeScript. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Proven experience with web application development, front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar). Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration. Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the finance or fintech industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with financial systems, trading platforms, or regulatory compliance standards is a plus. Experience working in an environment with high data security standards and sensitive information.
