Role: SAP PP QM Location: Raritan, NJ (Local or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements related to production planning and quality management processes. Configure SAP PP/QM modules to align with business needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Manage end-to-end process design, implementation, testing, and support for SAP PP and QM functionalities. Support master data creation and maintenance related to BOMs (Bills of Materials), routings, work centers, and inspection plans. Provide expertise on SAP production planning functionalities such as MRP, demand management, production orders, and shop floor control. Configure SAP QM processes like quality notifications, inspection types, and results recording. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including MM, SD, and FI/CO, to ensure seamless integration across modules. Lead testing, defect resolution, and validation during SAP implementations or upgrades. Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for SAP processes and workflows. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve SAP PP/QM-related issues promptly. Ensure SAP solutions comply with business process requirements and industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules. Proven experience with SAP implementation projects, including design, configuration, and go-live support. Strong knowledge of Production Planning processes, including MRP, work centers, routings, production orders, and shop floor control. Expertise in Quality Management processes such as inspection types, quality notifications, inspection plans, and results recording. Experience integrating SAP PP/QM with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PM. Proficiency in SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems is required. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. SAP certification in PP or QM is a plus.
