Business Analyst Remote(working hours during PST) JD: Job Summary: The Business Analyst works with business teams and Information Technology to ensure IT has a clear understanding of the business requirements and scope for any development or configuration changes. The position is responsible for capturing and recording business requirements that will provide well-written and reliable application programs and program features for existing and new applications, including participating in and conducting interviews with the business owners and vendors. The position applies communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support the development, testing, and implementation processes. The Business Analyst ensures configuration and integration impacts are noted and properly addressed. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business teams, project managers, and IT management to clearly define scope, requirements, and establish priorities. Conduct workflow analysis and generates existing workflows for business processes, systems, and data along with the appropriate narratives. Create new workflows based on the proposed change which demonstrates the new efficiency, issue resolution, addresses a new regulatory requirement, and/ or provides cost savings. Create detailed specifications for enhancements Develop and maintain business cases/requirements for projects/initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert in defining and recommending technological and process solutions for business users. Perform cost benefit and return on investment analysis that demonstrates new efficiencies and proposed cost savings as necessary. Create and maintain IT related process and procedures, ensuring the information and examples are timely and accurate. Participate in unit testing in a quality assurance role and assist in user acceptance testing, including the development of test scripts and revised processes. Capture and report application bugs and follows through to resolution or work around.
