Required: Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in related fields. 5+ years' experience engineering, developing, and supporting MFT solutions (we are a TIBCO shop but experience with other tools like IBM Sterling, File Gateway, connect: Direct, etc. will be considered). Strong experience in protocols/ technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologies. Understanding of encryption algorithms (PGP, SFTP/SSH, etc.), secure file transfer practices, networking/network protocols, firewalls and how they interrelate with MFT. Extensive Scripting / Development experience and mindset (examples include Java, JSP, PERL, Python, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills, someone with the ability to troubleshoot problems and attributes to find the most appropriate technical solution (with a focus on MFT). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and flex when priorities change. An ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration. A passion to provide world class customer service. Ability to provide 7x24x365 on call support. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross functional teams in Agile standups to understand file transfer requirements and implement appropriate solutions. Oversee the end-to-end file transfer process including planning, scheduling, and execution. Provide L3 Support, serve as an escalation point for more junior team members to promptly resolve issues. Develop automation and self-service mechanisms to reduce friction using the platform and ensure secure, efficient transfer of data between internal and external systems. Monitor performance, implement alerting, proactively resolve errors that arise through automation. Ensure security and compliance; conform to industry best practices and corporate policies to safeguard sensitive information from end-to-end. Produce and furnish web reports on file transfer processes, batch schedules, system performance, and KPIs.
