This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The SAP Project Manager acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving alignment and ensuring the success of SAP initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor and control project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Team Management Lead cross-functional project teams, including business analysts, functional consultants, technical developers, and testers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team members meet project milestones. Foster collaboration and communication among team members. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors. Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and project reviews to gather feedback and provide updates. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives. SAP Implementation and Integration Oversee the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and technical requirements. Manage integration efforts between SAP and other systems or third-party tools. Ensure data migration, system configurations, and customizations meet quality standards. Risk Management and Quality Assurance Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements. Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments to identify lessons learned. Change Management and Training Develop and execute change management plans to support user adoption of SAP solutions. Coordinate training programs and documentation for end-users and support teams. Address user concerns and ensure smooth transitions during go-live phases. Budget and Resource Management Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor project expenses and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders. Optimize resource utilization to achieve project objectives within budget constraints. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, FICO, SD, MM, etc.). Understanding of SAP project methodologies, including ASAP, Agile, and Activate. Familiarity with system integration, data migration, and testing processes. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms. Experience managing the full lifecycle of SAP implementation projects. Strong risk management, issue resolution, and decision-making abilities. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification. SAP Activate Project Manager or other relevant SAP certifications. Experience Requirements: 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on SAP projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale SAP implementation or upgrade projects. Experience in managing global, multi-site projects is a plus. Educational Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
