From: Somya Shrivastava, Vyze inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - SAP PP/QM and PM lead Hybrid Location: New Jersey city, NJ 6+ MONTHS Position Summary: The SAP PP/QM and PM Lead is responsible for leading and managing SAP implementation, optimization, and support for the Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules. This role collaborates with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical consultants to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PP/QM and PM solutions tailored to business requirements. Analyze and document current business processes and identify opportunities for system improvements. Ensure integration between SAP modules and third-party systems to maintain seamless operations. Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline production planning, quality management, and plant maintenance processes. Define and implement best practices in line with industry standards and organizational objectives. Drive digital transformation initiatives, such as predictive maintenance and quality control, using SAP tools. Project Management: Lead SAP-related projects, including upgrades, rollouts, and system enhancements. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for PP/QM and PM processes, liaising between business users and technical teams. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and change management activities to ensure user adoption. Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. System Support and Maintenance: Oversee the resolution of system issues, including troubleshooting and providing end-user support. Ensure proper testing and documentation of enhancements, configurations, and workflows. Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies. Compliance and Governance: Ensure SAP solutions comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Implement data governance and quality standards within the PP/QM and PM modules. Conduct audits and assessments to maintain system reliability and compliance. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong expertise in SAP PP, QM, and PM modules, including configuration, integration, and reporting. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications. Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO. Knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes, including lean principles and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP implementation and support with a focus on PP/QM and PM modules. Demonstrated success in leading SAP projects, including system upgrades and process transformations. Hands-on experience with SAP tools for production scheduling, quality inspection, and maintenance planning. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional efforts. Certifications (Preferred): SAP Certified Application Associate in PP, QM, or PM modules. PMP or equivalent project management certification. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications. Educational Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
