Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Description: We are looking for a talented Java Developer with a strong background in the Commodities Trading domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Core Java and backend technologies, with a proven track record of developing enterprise applications. You will play a key role in enhancing our trading systems and ensuring reliable and efficient data processing. Responsibilities: Application Development: Develop and maintain robust enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot, focusing on performance and scalability. Database Management: Utilize strong hands-on experience with Oracle DB and SQL for database development, including query optimization and writing stored procedures to improve data retrieval and processing efficiency. Environment Management: Manage Unix/Linux systems for application deployment and scripting, ensuring smooth operational environments. Caching Mechanisms: Implement and optimize application performance using caching mechanisms such as Chloracne Cache or similar technologies. Message Queuing: Design and integrate message queuing systems (e.g., Solace Queue) to facilitate reliable communication between various components of the trading platform. Commodity Banking Systems: Contribute to the development and enhancement of Commodity Banking systems, with a focus on Options and Futures trading functionalities Integration: Work on integrating third-party applications (e.g., Bloomberg) into backend systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong experience with Core Java and backend technologies. Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot for building enterprise applications. Basic experience with Unix/Linux systems for environment management and scripting. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle DB and SQL, including query optimization and stored procedures. Experience with Coherence Cache or similar caching mechanisms to enhance application performance. Knowledge of Solace Queue or similar message queuing systems for reliable communication. Familiarity with Commodity Banking systems, particularly in Options and Futures trading. Experience integrating third-party applications, such as Bloomberg, into backend systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. It would be great if you also had: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in the commodities trading domain.
