Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to incorporate AI solutions from CDAO or the DoD community into Search Portfolio products as appropriate. Optimizes AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging cloud-based resources and distributed computing frameworks, particularly Apache Spark/Databricks, and adapts code to run on GPU-enabled Kubernetes clusters. Keeps up to date with advancements in AI research and applies relevant findings to enhance Search Portfolio products. Manages the full lifecycle of AI/ML components used in Search Portfolio products, from research and development to deployment and optimization. Uses analytical methodologies to identify data-related challenges, implement solutions, and assess performance. Documents and presents requirements, design options, and findings to team members and clients. Develops strategic data modeling processes, accurately identifying cause-and-effect relationships. Experienced with integrated development environments, data integration, data visualization, data mining, and analysis tools. Maintains and supports the development of shared libraries and tools for use across multiple teams. Assists in developing a strategy for achieving rapid prototyping.
