Develop and implement data processing pipelines using Spark for batch and stream processing. Integrate Apache Kafka for real-time data ingestion, message brokering, and stream processing. Work on optimizing data workflows, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Design and implement microservices and REST APIs for data interactions and integrations. Develop and manage data storage and processing frameworks using Hadoop, Hive, and other Apache tools. Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and other developers to build end-to-end data solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in big data technologies. Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain best practices in software development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of professional experience in Java development. Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark (batch and stream processing). Proficiency with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures. Solid understanding of the Apache ecosystem, including Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and Flume. Experience with distributed computing and working on large-scale, high-performance systems. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or P) and cloud-native services. Knowledge of data storage and database systems such as NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) and SQL databases. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
