Kindly go through the below job description and share me your consultants updated profile: Job Description - Role: 1063-1 Platform Engineer Location: Hybrid; Newark, NJ; Candidate must be within driving distance of Newark, NJ Years of Experience: 7+ Visa: US Citizen and GC Only Job Description: Location: Onshore Scranton, PA / Newark, NJ (Hybrid) As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve the FAST platform. You will code, test, and debug new and existing applications as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, and deploy innovative products, services, and experiences. In addition to applied experience, you will bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude,e and a continuous learning focus to all that you do. Requirements: Configure and build applications ensuring that the solution follows the latest practices and industry standards for FAST, using modern design patterns and architectural principles; actively code against the roadmap. Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to all applicable Prudential standards that stay aligned with platform vendor roadmap and direction. Craft the business logic and integration patterns with Prudential Ecosystem, using modern integration, data, and security patterns. Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, and developing solutions to address the problems. Bring an applied understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, begin to identify opportunities to provide input to the team and coach others, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Use programming languages including but not limited to Fast Configuration, Python, Java, or JavaScript and React, Springboot, and Node.js frameworks. The Skills & Expertise You Bring: Minimum of 3 years experience in Fast Configuration and Development Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields Leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization. Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
