AWS DevOps Engineer Location: Denver, CO (Onsite) local Visa: USC,GC & GC-EAD Interview Process: 1 Round starting on January 2nd, 2025 video Job Description: We are seeking 5 skilled AWS DevOps Engineers to join our clients team in Denver, CO. This role focuses on managing and optimizing the deployment and operations of Java applications using AWS DevOps practices and tools like Datadog. If you have a passion for automating deployment pipelines and ensuring reliable application performance, this opportunity is for you. Key Responsibilities: AWS DevOps: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure. Java Application Deployment: Support the end-to-end deployment of Java applications in a cloud environment, ensuring smooth operations. Monitoring and Performance Management: Utilize tools like DataDog to monitor application performance, detect issues, and provide real-time solutions. CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to automate workflows. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system and application issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in AWS DevOps: Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, and CloudFormation/Terraform. Java Application Background: Hands-on experience with deploying and managing Java-based applications in production. Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in DataDog or similar monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, New Relic). CI/CD Experience: Expertise in tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline. Automation Expertise: Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy for automation tasks. Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges efficiently. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
