They would like to see additional TRUE Go Developer candidates. -Some of the feedback: not strong enough in Go Development, not strong enough experience with requisite technologies, candidates could not explain and communicate their experiences very well. CALL NOTES: Do not just list technologies on the skills chart. If they are not in the body of the resume they will be rejected. MUST SHOW THE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH EACH SKILL IN THE BODY OF THE RESUME AT EACH COMPANY Not just listed. Tech Skills: Go, APIs, Cloud, Kafka, Kubernetes Data Focused Team Building data sets, around plants, pollination, genealogy, agriculture. DATA Experience is a Big Plus Anything Data Databases, creating APIs, Modeling is a plus. Having a Mixed background is also a plus Showing they are a Life Long Learner Always learning something new at Bayer. This person will not be doing the requirements gathering This will be done by the managers and staff data engineers talking to the internal clients. Internal clients are: project managers, data scientists, and devs. MUST HAVE: Clear Communication Skills understanding of what is being asked and giving thoughtful and appropriate answers. Be able to describe complex ideas and not take 10 minutes to describe a clear concise answer. (Some candidates go round and round and never give a clear answer avoiding the question because they dont really know it.) Autonomy Be able to work on their own and solve problems. No hand holding. Provide Solutions Trust They will accomplish the work they set out to do. Team Work Demonstrating they can work with others/mentor/be mentored, collaborate, how they respond to adversity.
