Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer 10+ Year
Location: San Bernardino CA

Seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with some experience in TestComplete by SmartBear to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for our desktop and web-based applications. You will collaborate closely with the development, product, and QA teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your expertise in test automation will drive efficiencies and improve the overall testing process across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
             Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete by SmartBear for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
             Develop test automation frameworks and maintain the test environments.
             Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing automated tests for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
             Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA automation engineers on best practices in automation.
             Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, DevOps, and product management) to identify test scenarios and build effective automation strategies.
             Continuously improve the automation framework, tools, and processes to optimize testing efficiency.
             Analyze test results, debug failures, and recommend solutions to improve quality.
             Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
             Contribute to the integration of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
             Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and implement new techniques and tools as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
             10+ years of experience in QA automation testing, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with TestComplete by SmartBear.
             Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or similar).
             Experience with automating tests for web and desktop applications using TestComplete.
             Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
             Proficiency in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
             Experience in working with version control systems like Git.
             Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
             Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
             Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
             Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
             Familiarity with other test automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
             Experience in performance testing and tools like LoadComplete or JMeter.
             Knowledge of SQL and experience testing data-intensive applications.
             Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like ReadyAPI or Postman.
             ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.
