This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java developer to contribute to a fast-paced environment, working on cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Work on RESTful web services and APIs. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Work with WebFlux (nice to have) for reactive programming and asynchronous systems. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed. Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in applications. Maintain strong documentation of technical processes and designs. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in Java development. Strong proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot. Experience with WebFlux (nice to have, but not required). Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in writing unit and integration tests. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred: Previous experience working at American Express (Amex) or within the financial services industry. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience in Agile methodologies. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
