Need Architect level candidates only ! We need .Net Devs with EXTENSIVE Azure and Blazor experience. Like super extensive experience with these two tools. Our client is migrating an old Cobol application to a modern .Net tech stack. They have already started this project a few years ago, its a long-term project that they are needing more help with. Cobol experience is not required. Tech Stack: Blazor must have must have experience building Blazor applications from scratch (will not be using any JavaScript) They are on .Net 7 for version, must be working the at least .Net 7 or newer Azure they are completely in the cloud, must have strong Azure experience, mentioned they will be working with Azure Service Bus Architecture Senior level, must hit the ground running The Sr. Software Developer completes the following essential functions within established company and department policies, procedures, deadlines, and budget constraints. Lead and promote a positive workplace culture through company values Conduct performance analysis and optimization. Contribute to definition of technical roadmaps and architectural decisions. Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices. Mentor and coach other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Provide technical guidance to external consultants ensuring successful delivery of software and hardware solutions. Lead the design and development of large-scale software projects and initiatives. Facilitates software design architecture discussions and decisions. Develops interfaces and integrations between business applications including both hardware and software. Confers with business users and IT team members in resolving questions of program/system intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Defines and incorporates system security and control procedures, prepares documentation, and trains users on assigned applications. Provides periodic/occasional on-call programming support. The Sr. Software Developer works independently on existing and assigned projects/systems and is the subject matter expert on the systems assigned. The team works in a highly collaborative manner, so this position satisfies independent work and team collaboration work. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Demonstrable fundamentals covering object-oriented design, database design, algorithms & data structures, SOA, and parallel programming. Deep and broad expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks, including C#, Blazor, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, XAML, JSON, and Git. Strong working knowledge of web services, APIs, and related technologies: e.g.: SOAP, REST, GRPC, GraphQL. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud based real-time event-driven systems preferred. Strong SQL Server and T-SQL stored procedures/views development experience with attention to performance tuning. Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles. Solid understanding of SDLC, developing for quality, and code branching strategies. Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. Tactical group leadership and strategic thinking abilities. Experience developing and maintaining containerized or serverless solutions in the cloud (Azure preferred). Experience using Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies preferred.
