Location: Jackson, MA, US-(4 weeks onsite then remote) Duration: 8 Months Job Description UAT testing is a critical component of the Pathways project's success. The mission of the testing team is to ensure that Pathways functions effectively and intuitively, free of significant issues, so end users can fully utilize its capabilities. The quality assurance provided by UAT helps mitigate risks and enhances the project's ROI by identifying and resolving deficiencies early, reducing post-production maintenance costs, and boosting user confidence and system adoption. Currently, MDCPS has a UAT Lead resource actively monitoring SIT and preparing for UAT. This resource will oversee the UAT Master Test Plan and manage the UAT Testing Team. Additional MDCPS resources will be assigned to provide a clinical perspective during user acceptance testing. To maintain positive momentum with Organizational Change Management (OCM) and prevent disillusionment, the UAT testing team will perform initial testing of Pathways independently before involving MDCPS staff and SMEs. This phased approach will allow the team to identify and resolve bugs and usability issues, ensuring the system is more stable and less prone to errors by the time SMEs begin their testing. This strategy not only improves the testing experience for MDCPS staff but also strengthens the likelihood of successful adoption by delivering a more refined and reliable system that meets functionality, usability, security, and real-world applicability requirements. Qualifications SIT Test Case / Test Results Review Follow structured process for reviewing Vendor test cases and test results; ensure that SIT test coverage aligns with project requirements and standards. Test Environment Setup Support: Assist with environment smoke testing as needed to ensure that test environment(s) are set up to simulate end-to-end scenarios. Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve environment-related issues. Define test cases, test data and testing environments Assist and support conducting interviews with SME's, BA's, DMT and other Staff to confirm business processes Assist and support with authoring and revising comprehensive test scripts to include necessary data set(s), dependencies and interfaces Test Case Execution and Monitoring Execute test cases including: Functional testing End-to-End scenarios Report Validation Data Validation ADA Compliance Regression testing Document test results, including any defects or issues. Continuously monitor and report on the progress of end-to-end testing efforts. Identify areas of concern / opportunities for improvement. UX Testing Assist UAT Test Manager with resource coordination and test case assignments for expanded UX test team (MDCPS Staff) Defect Validation, verification and retest Track and report on end-user test results Quality Management Support: Help define quality metrics and acceptance criteria. Follow all quality assurance processes. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits. Generate module-based task reports that summarize testing progress, issues, and milestones. Test Management Plan Assist and support UAT Test Planning, Test Execution, and Defect Management for UAT (specifically) Assist and support UAT Test Status Reporting including KPIs Assist and support UAT Test Management, including building Test Calendar / Setting Daily Goals Assist and support UAT Defect Management Support for final validation with business Vendor should identify any potential risks, roadblocks, and challenges encountered in similar implementations that could negatively affect a timely and successful completion of the project. Vendor should recommend a high-level strategy to mitigate these risks.
