Enforce compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards during provisioning. End-User Records Management: Maintain and update end-user records within the Epic environment to ensure accurate access and role assignments. Conduct regular audits of user records to identify and address discrepancies or security risks. Troubleshoot and resolve access issues in collaboration with Epic application teams. Onboarding and Offboarding: Design and execute workflows for onboarding and offboarding users within the Epic system. Coordinate with HR, IT, and Epic teams to ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of user access. Document and refine processes to align with industry best practices. Security and Compliance Oversight: Perform ongoing audits of user permissions to maintain alignment with security policies and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST. Stay informed of Epic system updates and recommend security improvements accordingly. Support internal and external audits related to Epic security. Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in IT security, with at least 2 years focused on Epic security. Proven track record of managing security provisioning, end-user records, and onboarding/offboarding workflows in healthcare or similar regulated environments. Certifications: Epic Security Coordinator certification preferred. Additional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable. Skills: Expertise in Epic system security, including RBAC and compliance frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
