Need Local candidates Job Title: Networking and Security Solutions Location: San Francisco, CA, Onsite Job Details Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Account Managers to develop business strategies and win opportunities. Investigate prospect needs, propose solutions, and assist in sales decisions. Provide technical support using best practices and identify upsell opportunities. Deliver product presentations and demos, lead whiteboard discussions, and perform Proof of Concepts (PoCs). Build relationships across customer IT teams, uncover infrastructure challenges, and seek new projects. Travel 40-50% within the assigned region. Stay updated on market trends and product differentiation from competitors. Basic Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years of IT experience, with 7+ years in pre-sales engineering or related roles. Expertise in networking, security, and application technologies, with experience in Linux/Windows. Proven record of success in pre-sales and customer solution delivery. Familiarity with Cisco routing, TCP/IP, SNMP, security concepts, and network performance management. Experience with RFI/RFP responses and security audits is a plus. Formal sales training (e.g., Sandler, Challenger) required. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Technologies Cisco routing, switching, gateways, and applications TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, VoIP LAN, WAN (MPLS, Frame, ATM) Trend analysis concepts Security concepts Network infrastructure concepts Network performance management Fault/Alert management concepts nGenius product experience (advantage) Operating systems (Linux, NT) HP/OV, IBM Tivoli, EMC SMARTS, ArcSight (a plus) SDN/NFV Virtualization Public/Private Cloud Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred, technical military training preferred, and formal presentation training required.
