Title : WebSphere Admin Location : Remote Duration : 6+ Month Searching for a candidate with expertise in administering WebSphere Application Server and cloud system administration (including Azure, AWS, and Google). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise class environments. Total years of relevant Experience 12 years Minimum of - 8+ Years in WebSphere administration - 2+ years in cloud products administration - 5+ Years with application security product administration - 5+ Years Experience administering Integration platform. - 5+ Years experience working with government agencies. - 5+ Years of providing comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs. - 3+ Years of providing guidance, consultation with IT management and technical staffs regarding the use of emerging technologies Preferred Education 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study Job description (KSA): Knowledge Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows operating system and system administration tasks Highly available vertical / horizontal scaling, disaster recovery capabilities Single Sign On, network load balancer, firewall, IP subnets. On-Prem monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Cloud monitoring capabilities like Azure Monitor CI/CD pipelines: Ansible, Jenkins, Nexis, Mavin, Bitbucket etc.) Version control subsystem like: Git, Subversion, etc. Storage subsystem Salesforce Knowledge of application development, implementation, and deployment experience. Web services and data integration techniques, messaging and transformation. Lead experience to create design documentation and participate in code reviews with application teams. Strong troubleshooting experience to research production issues including cryptography(digital certificates), networking, IBM MQs, Databases. Develop and troubleshoot message translation issues integrating with backends (JSON to SOAP/SOAP to JSON) Experience with developing pass-through and transformative API extensions Skills Experience performing system and software audits. Assesses and analyzes business requirements, current state environment and technology choices to evaluate security solution alternatives that meet solution architecture needs and support enterprise requirements. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills related to Cloud, IAM and privileged access management. Excellent written and verbal communications kills, on both technical and non-technical topics Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure that project deliverables and deadlines are met. Advanced root cause analysis and written and verbal communications skills. Experience supporting and participating in 24 X7 on-call weekly rotation. Experience handling and reacting to infrastructure alerts reacting quickly. Communicating: o Communicate with clients, assisting them with their needs to ensure client satisfaction. Communicate the deployment/release schedule, release artifacts, priorities, and status to all stakeholders. Coordinate releases with internal stakeholders. Champion best practices and quality standards. Participate in functional and technical meetings throughout the development lifecycle.
