Job Description: The Engineering Manager will lead a full-stack engineering team, focusing on high-level design and architecture. This role requires a strong technical background with experience in cloud architecture, services, and concepts. Coding is not a core responsibility but familiarity with cloud technologies and the tech stack (Java Spring Boot, Angular, Relational Databases, Cypress) is essential. Technical Skillset: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) certification is preferred. Tech Stack: Java Spring Boot, Angular, Relational DBs, Cypress (ok if not hands-on coding) Proficiency in architectural design and cloud-native design principles. Prior experience as a Lead Developer or Architect is required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Rally (for story tracking), and CI/CD tools (CircleCI, JFrog, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker). Responsibilities : Lead engineering efforts, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance of the application. Collaborate on architectural discussions, offering a clear technical vision and best practices. Define technical standards and acceptance criteria for engineering work. Oversee sprint progress, facilitating agile processes to achieve sprint goals. Evaluate and challenge technical solutions, guiding the team to select the best approach. Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent Azure or Google Certification.
