Hope to hear from you soon Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Job Title: Business Analyst with IT Asset Management Location: 100% Onsite - LAUSD Administrative Headquarters 333 S. Beaudry Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90017 Rate: $45/hr on C2C Duration: Six (6) months, with option to extend Visa: USC, GC Must Have: Minimum 5 years of experience required. Provide a minimum of three (3) candidate references. Must be local to Los Angeles CA. SCOPE OF SERVICES Evaluate commercial IT software product(s) and recommend solutions for IT assets. Evaluate historical IT Asset Management (ITAM) data to determine best archive solution. Conduct meetings and workshops to gather requirements for ITAM implementation. Document workflow design, configurations and customizations. Work with developers on migration plan to ensure mini disruption to operations to align with ITIL best practices. Assist with data analysis and data cleansing. Develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects for UAT. Prepare training materials and job aids. Coordinate and conduct UAT and training sessions. Track and report UAT and training progress to project manager. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1) Experience in accessing software and organizational requirements to propose recommendations. 2) Experience in requirement gathering and converting general business terminology into specification document. 3) Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders in the project. 4) Good understanding of IT Asset management and ITIL processes for best practices 5) Experience with IT asset management workflow design and ability to prepare process flow diagrams, job aids and documentation. 6) Experience in software quality assurance, including testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking. 7) Good understanding of relational database and data driven software design. 8) Experience in data analysis and report creation. 9) Knowledge of BMC Remedy, IBM Maximo and IT Asset Management is preferable.
