Active LinkedIn ID and Reference is must Position Summary We are seeking a skilled IIS Server Administrator for a remote contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of IIS servers, ensuring optimal performance and security in a production environment. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our server operations and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain IIS servers to ensure high availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers and applications. Implement system upgrades, patches, and configurations to improve reliability and security. Oversee the web application infrastructure, including load balancers and backend services. Regularly monitor and support day-to-day operations, addressing any infrastructure tickets as they arise. Ensure network performance and security under general guidance. Utilize Power, Python, and other scripting tools in a Windows environment to automate tasks and processes. Qualifications Solid proficiency with Windows Server, IIS, and associated technologies. Experience in managing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools and custom applications. Proven ability to manage web application infrastructure and provide technical support. Strong understanding of networking, server virtualization, cloud technologies, and security best practices. Excellent troubleshooting skills and familiarity with network management protocols. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute tasks. Experience Requirements At least two years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Windows Web servers and web application infrastructures. Minimum two years of experience in network administration, including operational maintenance and security. Prior experience in deploying applications in a client/server network environment and providing on-call support. One year of demonstrated capability in troubleshooting network issues, Windows Web application servers, COTS, and in-house applications.
