Role: Python Developer (Medical Device & Regulations) Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite) Employment: Contract Role Description: Python API REST National Vulnerability Database (NVD) SBOM Debugging, troubleshooting Competencies: EIS : Medical Device & Regulations Essential Skills: Python Developer Must Have Technical/Functional Skills: Python programming skills (proficient-advanced), particularly in creating, modifying and troubleshooting Excel data sets. Experience with API integrations (REST), especially the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) API, to support the development of SBOM product search tools. Familiarity with data management, cybersecurity standards, and automation. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Experience Required: Python programming skills (proficient-advanced): Typically, achieving proficient in advanced skills in Python. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation skills: These are developed over time through consistent practice and exposure. Experience with API integrations (REST): Working with APIs like the NVD API and developing tools like SBOM product searches. Familiarity with data management, cybersecurity standards, and automation: While "familiarity" is less demanding than expertise. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and troubleshoot Python-based Excel AI Smart Sheets. Design and maintain tools leveraging the National Vulnerability Database API. Build and optimize SBOM product search tools to enhance cybersecurity workflows. Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for API integration and Excel automation. Provide technical support, debugging, and optimization of existing tools. Work with stakeholders to develop tools that will improve workflows and processes. Support with testing and verification of test steps and relevant documentation. Generic Managerial Skills: Must have very good written and verbal communication skills. Must be proactive, communicating with key stakeholders on a regular basis. Education B.E./B. Tech.
