Define Enterprise Strategy for APIM i. Evaluate current set up. ii. Implement APIM solution for internal-to-internal communication (Across COLO, GCP and Azure) iii. Integration with Security Vault Integrate with ULTA s security vault for fetching and auto renewing security keys etc. iv. Success Criteria 1. Onboard at least 10 internal applications (in lower enviornment) to new APIM solution for internal-to-internal communication for different data centers and with different authorization with the source. b. Set Up self-service Developer Portal in APIGEE i. Establish a Self-Service Developer Portal within APIGEE to facilitate development and collaboration.ii. Create API Catalogue (APIs categorized by Domain)iii. Integration with service registries like Kubernetes for auto discoverabilityiv. Integration with IAM to auto onboard users.v. Success Criteria 1. Onboarding APIs by Domain (at least 5 APIs per Domain). Take existing APIs from different applications which are already fronted with APIGEE. 2. Automate provisioning by new consumers. Define policies by consumers to protect the backend resources. 3. Demonstrate auto onboarding of users and auto discoverability with at least one ULTA s service registry. c. Implement Access Control, Security and policies i. Review existing access control and security framework within APIGEE. ii. Security Management Set up and implement governance for different security policies. Implement different Authentication policies (OAuth, JWT, API keys etc.) and Data Encryption (SSLTLS).iii. Integration with IAM Integrate with IAM to seamlessly onboard users.iv. Implement policies in APIGEE, including rate limiting, throttling, and other governance rules. v. Success Criteria 1. Demonstrate the framework with at least 5 APIs on how different Policies Security, Rate Limiting, throttling etc. can be applied as per a consumer need. d. Integration Patterns using APIGEEi. Evaluate the capabilities and define use cases for leveraging APIGEE for integration orchestration (apart from using it as gateway)ii. Protocol/Format Transformations Standardize implementation of different protocol (REST to HTTPs etc.) and format (JSON, XML etc.) transformation.iii. Caching Implementing caching capabilities.iv. Success Criteria 1. Demonstrate different orchestration, transformation, and caching capabilities by implementing at least 5 use cases.e. Integrate with CI/CDi. Review the existing CI/CD for APIGEE. Integrate APIGEE with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and IaaC configurations to streamline deployment and management.f. Set up Change Management and Production Support processes (Error handling and alerting) i. Set up Error Handling ii. Set up Monitoring and Analytics (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects. (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
