Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, deploy, and manage Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop solutions. Oversee and maintain Citrix Storefront, ensuring seamless access to applications and desktops for users. Implement and manage Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, security, and access control. Administer and support DAAS environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within the Citrix infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other enterprise systems, including networking, storage, and virtualization platforms. Perform upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure systems are up to date. Provide technical leadership and best practices for Citrix infrastructure optimization and scalability. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for all Citrix environments. Analyze, log, track and resolve software/hardware issues pertaining to server operating system and related services. Manage Windows Server ticket queue, resolve issues and provide 1st and 2nd level support of all Windows server platforms and associated applications. Identify and repair inconsistent Windows server configurations including drift config on Citrix and VMware systems. Standardization and automation of systems, tasks and workflows using Power. Participate in Infrastructure project design/implementations and Disaster Recovery exercises. Produce reports for daily checks, real-time monitoring, and capacity management to support infrastructure management needs. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience (5+ years) working with Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Storefront, and NetScaler. Expertise in designing and managing Citrix environments in both on-premise and cloud environments. Hands-on experience with DAAS platforms and virtual desktop solutions. Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Proficient in networking concepts and load balancing using Citrix NetScaler (ADC). Experience with Citrix provisioning services (PVS) and/or machine creation services (MCS). Knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows Server components. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Citrix environments, including application, network, and infrastructure layers. Strong understanding of IT security practices, especially related to Citrix environments. Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline configuration, automation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services. Advanced experience administering Windows Server (2016, 2019 and 2022). Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Power) for automation and system management.
