Role: SAP EWM Location: Auburn Hills, MI 6-12 months Description Some travel required to Auburn Hills, MI Define the data migration strategy for the project, ensuring alignment with overall SAP EWM implementation timelines and objectives. Develop detailed data migration plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and tools to be used. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify data sources, migration requirements, and dependencies. Assess data quality and define data cleansing and enrichment processes in collaboration with business teams Lead the extraction of master data and transactional data from legacy systems. Ensure data transformation rules are defined to meet SAP EWM-specific formats and structures. Oversee data loading activities into SAP EWM using tools such as LSMW, LTMC and custom ABAP programs. Good ABAP debugging skills with knowledge of EWM enhancements, custom developments, and BADIs. Knowledge of reporting tools and analytics in SAP (SAP Fiori, CDS views, etc.) Validate and reconcile data migration to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Work closely with functional and technical teams to define data requirements for different SAP EWM objects Coordinate with business users and data owners to gather, validate, and sign off on migrated data. Collaborate with middleware teams to handle data integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems. Lead data migration test cycles (unit testing, integration testing, volume testing, user acceptance testing,). Support functional teams during cutover and go-live activities by ensuring all migrated data is validated and ready for use.
