Prefer Columbus or Cleveland areas Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst plays a vital role in understanding business needs, identifying technology solutions, and facilitating the implementation of systems and processes that enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to gather requirements, analyze processes, and recommend solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: -Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, processes, and objectives. -Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, systems, and technologies to identify areas for improvement. -Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents to guide development and implementation efforts. -Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring clear communication between business and IT teams. -Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business needs and requirements. -Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. -Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure that delivered solutions meet specified requirements. -Assist in the development of user documentation, training materials, and provide user training as needed. -Identify potential risks and issues during project implementation and recommend mitigation strategies Qualification: -Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role in the insurance industry. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and systems. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical teams. -Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation techniques, such as use cases, user stories, process flows, etc. -Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques. -Knowledge of software and system design principles, as well as database concepts.
