Description :

Software developer that can help the Subscriber
Management team that uses Radius authentication to identify when a customer's
Router/Residential Gateway is trying to access the internet and is an allowed
service. Below are the skills we are looking for to help one of his folks
transition a number of our servers running older versions of FreeBSD Linux up
to RockyLinux. There is code work that is necessary to make this
migration happen, hence the additional skillsets over just SysAdmin
capabilities.

Skillset:

Programming skills in languages such as Perl, Python and Sys
Admin skills using common Linux s (bash, ksh, csh, etc.) is also
required. FreeBSD and RockyLinux experience are highly recommended.

Experience with Databases and how best to host these in a
cloud environment. Skills with LMDB and LDAP are recommended.

Familiarity with big data technologies (BigQuery, Mongo, SQL,
Kafka) is a plus.

Familiarity with network services including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS,
and Radius (Specifically FreeRadius)

BONUS
SKILLS :

Experience with cloud service platforms (GCP,
AWS, Azure) and tools such as Google Cloud Log Explorer and data analytics
tools.

looking for someone that can help us get lumens
standard servers ready to migrate to a Cloud environment (but the first step is
to update their code to run on RockyLinux first)
