Perform troubleshooting when necessary to remediate issues in a timely manner. Utilize a work management system for task coordination, scheduling, and obtaining installation approvals. Schedule outages with business owners as required. Manage tasks and provide periodic status updates and progress reports as necessary. Experience Required: Network Design and Management: Expertise in network design, management, detailed documentation, testing, problem analysis, and formulating scope and objectives for system changes. Technical Knowledge and Hands-On Experience: Cisco ASR/ISR routers (EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, etc.) and Cisco Catalyst switches. Cisco Layer 2 protocols and configurations. Network security best practices. Determining network requirements, developing designs, selecting equipment, and creating Bills of Materials. Datacenter experience. Addressing Layer 2 and physical layer issues in both copper and fiber infrastructures.
