Since there will be no business presence to identify the archival requirements, the customer requires someone who can create the archival requirements and only need to get final approval from business. The onsite resource should be well-versed in industry standards for archival and retention policies. Must understand the business of these systems and build the archival strategy from scratch. The offshore resource will extract and transform the data based on the requirements defined by the onsite counterpart. The target archival system will be Opentext. The onsite resource will be responsible for loading the data, with a separate team managing that process. The requirements set by the onsite resource should also consider the reporting features required in the target system.
